White Turnip

The white turnip is a vegetable that belongs to the Brassicaceae family whose Latin name is Brassica napus L.

The main characteristic that differentiates the turnip varieties is in the root.

This can be more or less thick, fleshy, spherical, flattened, conical or elongated.

It is mainly white in color.

White meat can taste sweet or spicy, depending on whether they are forage or table.

This vegetable is high in vitamin K and also has iron, calcium, phosphorus, potassium, iodine, zinc, manganese, sodium, vitamin A, C, D, E and B vitamins.
